Build Muscle Tone with These Tips
Ever workout and start to wonder how to build muscle tone.
So, how can one build muscle tone?
The key in building muscle tone, is not to concentrate on the tone, rather focus on building your muscle. When you work out, if your goal is to have good muscle tone and look “ripped”, you need to concentrate on working every muscle and building them up efficiently. However, you may wonder, “why is he talking about building big muscles? I want to get toned out!” You must understand that you need muscle to build tone. Without muscle there is no tone to be developed. Take the well known Steve Earcle. If he was to work on toning his muscle, it just wouldn’t work. He has nothing to even tone out. Build your muscles and tone will follow right behind it.
Working many muscles at once will develop even muscle strengths, with a variety of muscles worked out at once. Doing compound exercises will provide you a workout with many muscles used at once. Some examples of compound exercises are the bench press, squat, military press, dead lifts, pushups, and pull ups. They even strengthen your joints, as they are needed in using many muscles at once.
Your diet is another aspect you need to focus on when trying to build muscle tone. Having good, solid muscles is the first step. Now you need to put your muscles on display! You need to “uncover” them from your body fat. The average person has 15% to 25% body fat covering their muscle. You want to drop that to at least 10% in order to let those muscles shine.
Your first step to loosing body fat is to cut your calorie intake. By doing this, even by cutting the slightest amount, for example, 400 calories less a day, your body will look for other sources of energy to compensate for the loss, your body fat. Doing this for a couple of weeks will show some results.
To take it a step further, regulate your food intake. Enough with the fast foods, boxed meals, and large amounts of candy we all seem to be addicted to. Your body needs good, healthy food help build your muscle and also help drop your calorie intake. Eat what I like to call “clean” food. Naturally grown foods or foods that aren’t stuffed with additives for better taste is what you want to look for. Substituting foods like fish, chicken, fruits, and vegetables, instead of the candy and boxed foods, can help you start on your way to eating healthier.
Once you have built your muscles up, dropped your calorie intake, and stay eating “clean”, you will be on your way to build muscle tone.
